HOCKEY
No. 19 Michigan Tech split its weekend against Northern Michigan, winning 8-2 on Friday in Marquette and falling 3-2 on Saturday in Houghton. Teydon Trembecky (3), Stiven Sardarian (2), Noah Reinhart (2), Elias Jansson, Isaac Gordon, and Reid Andresen scored the goals. Tech is 17-9-2 overall and 12-4-2 in the CCHA and travels to No. 16 St. Thomas this weekend for a CCHA road series.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The No. 6-ranked Huskies swept their home weekend, defeating Wayne State 75-74 on Thursday and Purdue Northwest 83-65 on Saturday. Marcus Tomashek averaged 25 points in the two games, while Gabe Smith averaged 13.5 points and 8 rebounds. The Huskies are 18-2 overall and 9-1 in the GLIAC and travel to Davenport on Thursday and Grand Valley State on Saturday.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech splits it weekend at the SDC Gym, falling 86-83 to Wayne State on Thursday and defeating Purdue Northwest 73-46 on Saturday. Ella Mason (21.5), Kendall Standfest (16), and Soraya Timms (15.5) all averaged double figures. Tech is 12-6 overall and 6-4 in the GLIAC and heads downstate to face Davenport on Thursday and Grand Valley State on Saturday.

NORDIC SKIING
The Huskies raced at the Ariens Nordic CCSA Invitational on Sunday. In the 15K skate, Wes Campbell won the men's race and Bridget Burns was the top women's finisher in sixth. The Huskies have their home event this weekend, the MTU CCSA Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at the Tech Trails.

TENNIS
The tennis teams opened up their 2026 spring season on Sunday at Gates Tennis Center. Both teams defeated St. Norbert 7-0. The Huskies hit the road this weekend for matches at Hillsdale on Saturday and Northwood on Sunday.
