Michigan Tech Athletics – Ticket Purchase Policy

1. General Purchase Policy
All ticket purchases made through Michigan Tech Athletics (buyhuskiestickets.com), including purchases made online, by phone, or in person, are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this Purchase Policy.
By completing a ticket purchase, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
Michigan Tech Athletics reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Any material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
2. No Refunds or Exchanges
All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued except as specifically provided in this policy or otherwise authorized by Michigan Tech Athletics.
Michigan Tech Athletics does not generally provide refunds or exchanges for circumstances including, but not limited to:
- Tickets purchased in error
- Scheduling conflicts
- Travel difficulties
- Inclement weather that does not result in an event cancellation
- Changes to the purchaser’s personal circumstances
- Unused or partially used tickets
- Change of plans or inability to attend
- Lost, stolen, or misplaced tickets
- Changes in seating preferences
- Failure to access or download a digital ticket
Michigan Tech Athletics may, at its discretion, approve a refund or other accommodation in circumstances not specifically addressed in this policy. Any approved refund may be subject to applicable transaction, processing, or other non-refundable fees.
3. Event Cancellations
If an event is officially
canceled and will not be rescheduled, Michigan Tech Athletics will determine the applicable refund or credit process based on the circumstances of the cancellation.
When a refund is authorized, it will generally be issued to the original method of payment used for the purchase. Michigan Tech Athletics will communicate the applicable refund process and any required action to ticket purchasers.
Unless otherwise communicated by Michigan Tech Athletics, purchasers should retain their original tickets and order information until the cancellation and refund process has been completed.
4. Postponed or Rescheduled Events
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets purchased for the original event will generally remain valid for the rescheduled date unless otherwise communicated by Michigan Tech Athletics.
A postponement or rescheduling of an event does not automatically constitute grounds for a refund or exchange.
If Michigan Tech Athletics determines that refunds or exchanges will be offered due to a postponement or rescheduling, eligible purchasers will be provided with instructions and any applicable deadlines.
If a purchaser is unable to attend the rescheduled event, no refund will be provided unless Michigan Tech Athletics has specifically announced a refund option. Any refund option announced by Michigan Tech Athletics may be limited to single-game ticket purchasers and may exclude season-ticket holders or other ticket types.
5. Event Date, Time, or Venue Changes
Michigan Tech Athletics reserves the right to change the date, start time, venue, seating configuration, or other event details when circumstances require.
Reasonable efforts will be made to communicate significant event changes to ticket purchasers using the contact information associated with their ticket order.
A change to an event date, start time, venue, seating location, or other event detail does not automatically entitle a purchaser to a refund or exchange.
If a specific event change results in a refund or exchange opportunity, Michigan Tech Athletics will communicate the applicable options to affected purchasers.
6. Inclement Weather or Other Unforeseen Circumstances
Athletic events may be affected by weather, facility conditions, travel conditions, public safety concerns, or other circumstances outside the control of Michigan Tech Athletics.
If an event continues as scheduled, tickets will not be refunded due to weather or other conditions that prevent or discourage a purchaser from attending.
If an event is delayed, postponed, relocated, or canceled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the provisions of this policy regarding postponed, rescheduled, relocated, or canceled events will apply.
7. Ticket Errors and Duplicate Purchases
Purchasers are responsible for reviewing their order information, including the event, date, time, quantity, price, and seating location, before completing a purchase.
Once an order has been completed, Michigan Tech Athletics is not responsible for purchaser errors, including the accidental purchase of duplicate tickets or tickets for the incorrect event.
8. Unauthorized Resale or Fraudulent Activity
Michigan Tech Athletics reserves the right to cancel or invalidate tickets that are determined to have been obtained through fraudulent activity, unauthorized use, unauthorized resale, or violation of applicable ticket terms.
Tickets that are canceled or invalidated due to purchaser misconduct may not be eligible for a refund.

Michigan Tech Athletics recommends that purchasers contact the Ticket Office as soon as possible when questions arise regarding an order or an event.
Important Notice: Purchasing a ticket constitutes acceptance of this Purchase Policy and any additional terms communicated at the time of purchase. Michigan Tech Athletics reserves the right to modify event policies and procedures when circumstances require.
