HOCKEY
The Huskies had a non-conference series split at No. 8 Minnesota to begin the 2025-26 season. The Gophers won 6-3 Friday and the Huskies won 5-3 on Saturday. Rylan Gould, Tom Leppa, Ryan Abraham, Tyler Miller, Luca Fasciano, Teydon Trembecky, Max Koskipirtti, and Noah Reinhart scored the goals. Tech has the weekend off before another non-conference road trip to Alaska on Oct. 17-18.
 
FOOTBALL
Tech opened GLIAC play with a 48-24 victory at Wayne State on Saturday to improve to 4-1 overall. Nic Nora scored a pair of touchdowns while Patrick Kastner, Chase Koch (interception), Bryce Kurncz, and Drew Collins also found the endzone, and Avery Kucharski hit a pair of field goals. Terrence Martin led the defense with seven tackles. The Huskies head back downstate for a 2 p.m. kickoff against Davenport on Saturday.
 
VOLLEYBALL
The Huskies earned a pair of 3-0 sweeps on the road, taking down Lake Superior State on Friday and Saginaw Valley State on Saturday to extend the winning streak to four. Rachel Zurek led the offense with 3.8 kills per set, Tess Hayes set the offense with 11.75 assists per set, and Julia Fledderjohn tallied 2.83 digs per set. Tech is 7-6 overall and 4-2 in the GLIAC and hosts Northern Michigan on Thursday at 6 p.m. and then travels to Purdue Northwest for a 3 p.m. Eastern match on Sunday.
 
SOCCER
The Huskies lost in a pair of 2-1 games at Kearly Stadium. Saginaw Valley State was victorious on Friday and Ferris State came out on top Sunday. Reilly Lovercheck scored both goals for the Huskies. Tech plays at Northern Michigan on Sunday at 3 p.m. in the only game of the week.

CROSS COUNTRY
The Huskies return to competition this weekend at the Lewis Crossover on Saturday in Romeoville, Illinois.
