HOCKEY
The Huskies split a non-conference series in Alaska over the weekend. Tech won 3-1 Friday and fell 5-1 on Saturday. Jack Anderson, Noah Reinhart, Max Koskipirtti, and Tyler Miller scored the goals. Tech is now 2-2 and hosts Ferris State this weekend for the home and CCHA-opener. The Huskies and Bulldogs will meet at 7:07 p.m. on Friday and 6:07 p.m. on Saturday at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena. There is a Blue Line Club Luncheon on Friday, and the 1975 NCAA National Championship Team will be honored on the ice Saturday.
 
FOOTBALL
Tech fell 38-10 to No. 1 Ferris State on Saturday at Kearly Stadium. Elliott Larner scored the lone touchdown for the Huskies, and Avery Kucharski added a field goal. Tech is 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the GLIAC and travels to Marquette on Saturday for the annual Miner's Cup game against Northern Michigan. Kickoff is set for noon at the Superior Dome.

CROSS COUNTRY
The cross country teams hosted the Husky Invitational on Friday at the Tech Trails. Senior Austin Smelker claimed the men's 8k victory while sophomore Grace Folkema won the women's 6k race. Tech races at the GLIAC Championship on Saturday hosted by Davenport University at Calvin University's Cross Country Course in Grand Rapids. The women's 6K is at 11 a.m. followed by the men's 8K at 11:45 a.m.
 
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies travel to East Lansing for an exhibition game at Michigan State on Wednesday. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Breslin Center. Former Michigan Tech student-athletes and coaches Kim Cameron and Maria Kasza are assistant coaches for the Spartans.
 
SOCCER
The Huskies fell 2-0 at Davenport on Friday and 6-0 at Saginaw Valley State on Sunday. Tech is 2-10-1 overall and 2-6-1 in the GLIAC and continues a downstate road trip at Ferris State on Friday and No. 2 Grand Valley State on Sunday.
 
VOLLEYBALL
The Huskies played three matches at the 17th annual Midwest Regional Crossover Tournament, falling 3-0 to Indianapolis on Friday, dropping a five-setter to Ohio Dominican on Friday, and wrapping up against Walsh Saturday with a 3-0 loss. Jacqueline Yancy led the offense with 2.89 kills per set, Avery Brown set the attack with 6.33 assists per set, and Julia Fledderjohn led the defense with 4.55 digs per set. Tech is 7-11 overall and gets back to GLIAC action this weekend against Wayne State on Friday at 5 p.m. and Grand Valley State on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the SDC Gym.
