HOCKEY
Michigan Tech swept its first CCHA weekend of the New Year at Bemidji State. The Huskies won 5-2 on Friday and 4-3 on Saturday. Max Koskipirtti scored twice on Friday and Brayden Boehm scored two goals on Saturday. Isaac Gordon, Tom Leppa, Luca Fasciano, Elias Jansson, and Tyler Miller also had goals. Owen Bartoszkiewicz earned both wins between the pipes. Tech is 14-8-2 overall and 9-3-2 in the CCHA and finally returns to the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena this weekend, hosting No. 15 Minnesota State.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The No. 12-ranked Huskies swept their weekend at the SDC Gym, defeating No. 18 Northern Michigan 84-75 on Thursday and handled Ferris State 81-72 on Saturday. Marcus Tomashek averaged 30 points on the weekend and scored his 2,000th career point on Saturday. The Huskies are 14-2 overall and 5-1 in the GLIAC and travel to Saginaw Valley State on Thursday and Lake Superior State on Saturday.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech dropped a pair of GLIAC home games, falling 74-46 to No. 14 NMU on Thursday and 73-64 to No. 22 Ferris State on Saturday. Janie Tormanen averaged 14.5 points on the weekend and had a double-double on Saturday. Tech is 9-5 overall and 3-3 in the GLIAC and travels to SVSU on Thursday and LSSU on Saturday.

NORDIC SKIING
The Nordic Ski Teams wrapped up competition at the 2026 U.S. Cross-Country Ski National Championships on Friday. A full event recap will be posted on Monday. The Huskies are off until Jan. 24-25 in Brillion, Wisconsin.
