HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech soccer team wraps the regular season, welcoming Purdue Northwest to Kearly Stadium on Saturday, slated for a noon start time.
The Series
The two teams have not played in the 2025 season, although Michigan Tech holds a 12-1 series lead with an 8-0 standing at home. The two teams split last season, with PNW securing a 2-1 win on the road before the Huskies earned a 1-0 decision in Houghton.

Purdue Northwest will play Northern Michigan on Thursday before facing the Huskies and currently resides in eighth in the GLIAC standings with nine conference points (3-9 GLIAC) while Michigan Tech holds seven conference points and a GLIAC ledger of 2-10-1.

About the Pride
Purdue Northwest enters the final complete weekend of the regular season with a four-game losing skid, playing to a 5-9-2 overall record and a 3-9 standing in the loop. PNW has nine conference points, residing in eighth in the GLIAC standings.
The Pride produces 8.9 shots and 3.6 corner kicks per game.
In total, PNW has been outscored 24-12 on the season, with Mia Davis ranking third in the GLIAC with a team-leading six goals and two game-winning scores. She is the lone player with more than one goal, although six additional players have scored once for the Pride. Nayla Pena, Yoselin Garcia and Sarah Scaling lead the team with two assists, respectively.
Sophomore goalkeeper Poppy Jackson has appeared in 14 games, making 13 starts. She has a record of 5-5-2 with five shutouts, making 35 saves on 135 shots faced, with a 1.25 goals against average.
Mary Whisler is in her fourth season at the helm of the Pride, who were predicted to tie for sixth in the GLIAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

Michigan Tech enters its final game of the regular season with a 2-14-1 ledger while going 2-10-1 in the GLIAC. The Huskies reside ninth in the GLIAC standings with seven conference points.
Ludesha Reynolds made her third start of the season on Sunday. For the year, she's made 39 saves (.736 save percentage), facing 119 shots in nine games. She ranks eighth in the league in saves.
The Huskies produce 2.6 corner kicks and 7.9 shots per game.Â
Junior midfielder Ryley Winrich netted her first goal of the season on Friday night, with Allision Millina and Brooke Green earning assists on the score. Millina and freshman Peyton Wetzel have a team-high two assists on the year, while Green earned her first career assist Friday.
Wetzel paces the Huskies' offense with eight points coming from a team-leading three goals and two assists. Veteran Reilly Lovercheck has netted two goals this season for the Black & Gold.
