FOOTBALL
The Huskies dominated South Dakota Mines 45-9 on the road Thursday to improve to 2-0. Drew Collins scored three touchdowns while Kolby Hindenach, Alex Bueno, Ethan Champney, and Elliott Larner also found the endzone. Terrence Martin and Jeffrey Price led the Huskies with four tackles. Tech is back on the road for another non-conference matchup against Hillsdale. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
 
VOLLEYBALL
Tech opened its season by going 2-1 at the McKendree Invitational. The Huskies lost 3-0 to Missouri-St. Louis on Friday but bounced back with a 3-1 win over Southwestern Oklahoma State on Friday and a sweep of host McKendree. Jacqueline Yancy led the defense with 3.5 kills per set while Tess Hayes averaged 10.10 assists per set and Julia Fledderjohn anchored the defense with 3.5 digs per set. Tech heads to Minnesota for four matches in the Up North Tournament. The Huskies play at Minnesota Duluth on Thursday, against No. 20 Barry and No. 3 St. Cloud State on Friday in St. Cloud, and then back up to Duluth to matchup against Adelphi on Saturday.
 
CROSS COUNTRY
The cross country squads saw both teams claim fourth-place finishes in a meet that showcased nine teams at the Phoenix Open hosted by the UW-Green Bay on Saturday afternoon. Sophia Rhein highlighted the day with a runner-up finish in the women's race and Colman Lenci led the men's team with a sixth-place finish. The Huskies will be back in action on Sept. 19, traveling to the historic Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota.
 
SOCCER
The Huskies opened the 2025 season with a pair of 1-0 losses at Kearly Stadium. The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs won Friday and the St. Cloud State Huskies came out victorious on Sunday. Tech continues a four-game homestand by hosting Cedarville on Thursday at 6 p.m. and Northwood Saturday at 1 p.m.
