HOCKEY
The Huskies took 4-of-6 CCHA points at Bowling Green over the weekend. Tech shutout the Falcons 3-0 on Friday and skated to a 2-2 tie on Saturday. The home team won the shootout. Logan Morrell, Viktor Hurtig, Matthew Campbell, Stiven Sardarian, and Isaac Gordon scored the goals. Derek Mullahy earned his second shutout of the season and made 59 saves in the series. Tech hosts St. Thomas this weekend at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena for the final home games of 2024. The puck drops at 7:07 p.m. on Friday and 6:07 p.m. on Saturday.  
 
MEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech defeated St. Cloud State 88-70 on Wednesday at the SDC Gym in its only game of the week. Marcus Tomashek led five Huskies in double figures with 20 points. Matt Schmainda scored a career-high 15 points. Tech is 4-3 overall and begins GLIAC play, hosting Parkside on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Purdue Northwest at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
 
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

The Huskies split their non-conference weekend at home, falling 63-60 to No. 21 Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday and then bouncing back with a 71-66 victory over Winona State on Sunday. Maja Kozlowska (14.5), Kendall Standfest (12.5) and Isabella Lenz (11.5) averaged double figures on the weekend. The Huskies are 3-5 and host Parkside on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the SDC Gym in the GLIAC opener. The weekend wraps up against Purdue Northwest at noon on Saturday.
