HOCKEY
Michigan Tech hockey dropped a pair of non-conference games to Clarkson at home. The Golden Knights won 4-1 Friday and 2-1 in overtime on Saturday. Stiven Sardarian and Chase Pietila scored the goals for the Huskies. Tech is 2-2 and begins CCHA play against Northern Michigan this weekend. The teams will meet in Marquette on Friday at 7:07 p.m. and in Houghton on Saturday at 6:07 p.m. TV6 and FOX-UP will televise the games locally.
 
FOOTBALL
Tech football earned its 14th straight Miner's Cup victory over rival Northern Michigan on Saturday, taking down the Wildcats 39-9. Brandon Michalak had a pair of touchdown receptions, Jaxon Lippert scored on a punt return, Alex Bueno had a rushing score, and Ethan Hull had a touchdown grab. Porter Zeeman led the defense with eight tackles. The Huskies are 5-3 overall and 2-2 in the GLIAC and travel to Roosevelt on Saturday for a 2 p.m. Eastern kickoff with the Lakers.
 
SOCCER
The Huskies swept its final home weekend, defeating Purdue Northwest 1-0 on Friday and Roosevelt 2-0 on Sunday at Kearly Stadium. Jordan Noble scored Friday, while Kiersen Korienek and Emilie Clayton found the back of the net Sunday. Bri Barrows earned the shutout wins with 14 saves on the weekend. Tech is 6-8 overall and 4-7 in the GLIAC and plays at Parkside on Sunday.
 
CROSS COUNTRY
The cross country squads had six all-conference performances as the No. 20 ranked men placed third and the women took fifth at the GLIAC Cross Country Championships. Sam Lange led the men in sixth and earned All-GLIAC First Team honors, while Michael Dennis (14th), Tucker Ringhand (15th), and Colman Lenci (20th) were Second Team. Sophia Rhein earned Second Team honors with her 11th-place finish to lead the women. Cedar Gordon was 20th for Second Team honors. Tech travels to the NCAA Midwest Regional hosted by Lewis on Nov. 9.
 
VOLLEYBALL
Tech had a pair of losses on the road, falling 3-0 at Wayne State Friday and 3-1 at No. 13 Grand Valley State on Saturday. Meg Raabe led the offense (4.29 k/s), Tess Hayes set the attack (9.57 a/s), and Brynn Erickson led the defense (3.86 d/s). Tech is 11-9 overall and 5-5 in the GLIAC and returns to the SDC Gym to wrap up the home schedule, hosting Northern Michigan on Wednesday, Parkside Friday, and Purdue Northwest Saturday on Senior Day.
