MIDLAND, Mich. Michigan Tech was swept by
nationally-ranked Northwood, 9-0, today in men's tennis. The
ninth-ranked Timberwolves are now 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the Great
Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Huskies fell to 2-11
overall and 0-2 in the GLIAC.
Northwood swept the doubles matches, dropping a total of eight
games in the three flights. NU then went on to post six
straight-set victories in singles to complete the sweep.
Tech will return to action next Friday (March 28). The Huskies will
play GLIAC foe Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich.
