HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech track & field squads return to the oval office this weekend with Claire Endres and Sam Shaver trek downstate for the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet on Friday and a majority of the team traveling to the St. Norbert Invitational Saturday.

Endres will look to lower her NCAA Provisional Qualifying and school record performance in the 3,000m steeplechase as Shaver will be competing in the 1,500m in Allendale as the top-performer for the Black & Gold in the event this season with her time of 4:46.32.Â
Last time out, the Huskies enjoyed 23 personal-best marks at the UW-Platteville Invitational while accumulating four heat winners in Luke Pravecek (5,000m), Evan Balko (1,500m), Landon Pestrue (1,500m) and Brady Hager (800m).
At the St. Norbert Invitational, 16 Huskies will toe the starting line with eight in the 800m, six in the 1,500m and three in the 3,000m steeplechase.
Julia Moxey (2:21.05) and Brady Hager (1:56.42) led the team in the 800m this season as freshman Matthias Morse leads the group of 1,500m competing at the St. Norbert Invitational with his time of 4:04.32.
