HOCKEY
No. 17 Michigan Tech had a tie and an overtime win at Lake Superior State. The Huskies and Lakers tied 2-2 on Friday, and the Lakers won the shootout. Tech won 5-4 in overtime on Saturday. Jack Anderson had three goals on the weekend, and Teydon Trembecky scored twice, including the game-winner on Saturday. Max Koskipirtti and Isaac Gordon also scored. Tech improved to 21-10-3 overall and 16-5-3 in the CCHA and hopped into first place—one point ahead of St. Thomas. The Tommies will be active next weekend, while the Huskies have a bye.
 
MEN'S BASKETBALL
The No. 13-ranked Huskies swept their weekend road trip, defeating Purdue Northwest 63-61 on Thursday and Wayne State 77-73 on Saturday. Marcus Tomashek (19.5), Dawson Nordgaard (14.5), and Nate Abel (10) averaged double figures in scoring. The Huskies are 22-4 overall and 13-3 in the GLIAC and play at No. 17 Northern Michigan on Thursday in the only game of the week.
 
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech split its weekend on the road, defeating Purdue Northwest 63-59 on Thursday and falling at Wayne State 68-67. Alyssa Wypych (12.5), Ella Mason (12.5), Kendall Standfest (12), and Kloe Zentkowski (10) all averaged double figures. Tech is 15-9 overall and 9-7 in the GLIAC and travels to Northern Michigan on Thursday for its only game of the week.
 
NORDIC SKIING
Nordic Ski Teams finished second at the CCSA Championship this weekend in Minneapolis. A full recap will be posted on Monday.
 
TENNIS
The tennis teams traveled to Illinois over the weekend. The women's team defeated Illinois Springfield 6-1 on Saturday, while the men fell 6-1 to the Prairie Stars.
