HOCKEY
No. 19 Michigan Tech split its weekend at No. 15 St. Thomas. The Huskies fell 4-2 on Friday and won 4-3 on Saturday. Noah Reinhart scored in each game, while Joe Prouty, Jack Anderson, Reid Daavettila, and Elias Jansson also found the back of the net. Tech is 18-10-2 overall and 13-5-2 in the CCHA and hosts No. 16 Augustana this weekend for the annual Winter Carnival series. The puck drops at 7:07 p.m. Friday and 5:07 p.m. on Saturday. The Huskies and Vikings will play a total-goal series for the MacInnes Trophy. There is also a
Blue Line Club Luncheon on Friday at 11:45 a.m. Tickets need to be purchased by noon on Tuesday.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The No. 6-ranked Huskies dropped a pair of GLIAC games on the road, falling 72-69 at Davenport on Thursday and 55-46 at No. 23 Grand Valley State on Saturday. Marcus Tomashek (16), Ty Fernholz (11.5), and Nate Abel (11) all averaged double figures scoring. The Huskies are 18-4 overall and 9-3 in the GLIAC and host Lake Superior State on Thursday and Saginaw Valley State on Saturday at the SDC Gym.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech fell in a pair of GLIAC road games at Davenport, 63-51, on Thursday and No. 1 GVSU, 76-62, on Saturday. Â Kendall Standfest (13.5), Soraya Timms (12), and Alyssa Wypych (10) all averaged double figures. Tech is 12-8 overall and 6-6 in the GLIAC and returns home to host LSSU on Thursday and SVSU on Saturday.

NORDIC SKIING
The Nordic ski teams won their home meet over the weekend at the Tech Trails, the MTU CCSA Invitational. The Huskies edged Northern Michigan in the men's, women's, and overall team standings, while Julia Junkkala won Sunday's skate and Wes Campbell won Saturday's classic. The Huskies have the Winter Carnival weekend off before the CCSA Championship on Feb. 14-15 in Minneapolis.

TENNIS
The tennis teams played their first road matches of the season, falling at Hillsdale on Saturday and Northwood on Sunday. The Huskies have an off weekend before heading on the road to Illinois Springfield on Feb. 14 and Quincy on Feb. 15.
