HOCKEY
Michigan Tech swept No. 17 Minnesota State for its fifth straight victory. The Huskies won 3-1 on Friday and 4-1 on Saturday. Carson Latimer had a goal each night while Max Koskipirtti, Carson Birnie, Luca Fasciano, Kalem Parker, and Isaac Gordon also scored. Owen Bartoszkiewicz earned both wins between the pipes and made 46 saves on Saturday. Tech is 16-8-2 overall and 11-3-2 in the CCHA and played Northern Michigan this weekend. The teams meet in Marquette on Friday and Houghton on Saturday.
 
MEN'S BASKETBALL
The No. 8-ranked Huskies won a pair of road GLIAC games, defeating Saginaw Valley State 80-78 on Thursday and Lake Superior State 84-83 on Saturday. Marcus Tomashek averaged 31.5 points in the two games, while Dawson Nordgaard averaged 14.5 points. The Huskies are 16-2 overall and 7-1 in the GLIAC and host Wayne State on Thursday and Purdue Northwest on Saturday at the SDC Gym.
 
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech swept its weekend on the road, defeating Saginaw Valley State 59-40 on Thursday and Lake Superior State 68-57 on Saturday. Alyssa Wypych (16), Soraya Timms (14.5), Janie Tormanen (14), and Ella Mason (12.5) all averaged double figures in the two victories. Tech is 11-5 overall and 5-3 in the GLIAC and hosts Wayne State on Thursday and Purdue Northwest on Saturday at the SDC Gym.
 
NORDIC SKIING
The Huskies return to action this weekend at the Ariens Nordic CCSA Invitational in Brillion, Wisconsin. The teams will compete in a 15K skate on Saturday and a classic mixed gender relay on Sunday.
 
TENNIS
The 2026 spring tennis seasons start on Sunday when the Huskies host St. Norbert at the Gates Tennis Center.
