FOOTBALL
The Huskies opened the 2025 season with a 37-17 win over No. 16 Bemidji State on Thursday at Kearly Stadium. Quarterback Alex Bueno was named GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week after he had a game-leading 102 yards rushing and a touchdown in 16 carries while also completing 62.5 percent of his passes (15-for-24) for 188 yards and two touchdowns. Nic Nora had a pair of touchdowns, while Ethan Champney and Jake Rueff also found the endzone. Porter Zeeman led the defense with eight tackles. Tech travels to South Dakota Mines for an 8 p.m. kickoff on Thursday.

SOCCER
The Huskies open the 2025 season by hosting Minnesota Duluth on Friday at 6 p.m. at Kearly Stadium. The weekend wraps up against St. Cloud State on Sunday at noon. Tech and second-year coach Melissa Kuhar return 18 student-athletes from last season with 12 freshmen added to the roster.

VOLLEYBALL
Tech begins its season at the McKendree Invitational, playing three matches on the weekend. The Huskies matchup against Missouri-St. Louis in the season opener on Friday and then have an evening meeting with Southwestern Oklahoma State. The weekend wraps up against host McKendree on Saturday. The Huskies, under first-year coach Cindy Pindral, return 13 student-athletes from 2024, with three who earned All-GLIAC honors.

CROSS COUNTRY
The first meet of the season is Saturday down at UW-Green Bay. The men's team returns five runners from the squad that earned an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Championships with a third-place team finish in the Midwest Regionals. All-Region runner Colman Lenci is the top returner from a season ago. Sophia Rhein is the top-returner from the women's team that took 14th at the regional meet and fifth-place at the GLIAC Championships. Coach Robert Young brings in a freshman class of 15 student-athletes, with 11 on the men's side and four on the women's squad.
