HOCKEY
Bemidji State took 5-of-6 CCHA points against the Huskies at Winter Carnival. Tech fell 5-3 Friday and 6-5 in overtime on Saturday. Elias Jansson was named Winter Carnival MVP with a hat trick on Saturday. Owen Baker, Matthew Campell, Chase Pietila, Max Koskipirtti, and Alex Nordstrom also scored goals on the weekend. Tech is 15-11-2 overall and 11-7-2 in the CCHA and makes its first-ever trip to Augustana this weekend for their only meeting of the season.
 
MEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech split its weekend on the road, falling 74-62 at Wayne State on Thursday and defeating Saginaw Valley State 78-73 on Saturday. Marcus Tomashek (26.5) and Gabe Smith (15) averaged double figures scoring in the two games. Tech is 16-6 overall and 11-3 in the GLIAC and hosts Ferris State on Thursday and Lake Superior State on Senior Day Saturday.
 
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies dropped a pair of games on the road, falling 66-44 at Wayne State on Thursday and 56-49 at Saginaw Valley State on Saturday. Isabella Lenz (12) and Kendall Standfest (11.5) averaged double figures scoring on the weekend. Tech is 9-13 overall and 6-8 in the GLIAC and hosts Ferris State on Thursday and Lake Superior State on Saturday at the SDC Gym. Saturday is Senior Day.
 
NORDIC SKIING
Michigan Tech hosts the CCSA Championships & GLD CXC Cup Finale at the Tech Trails on Saturday and Sunday. The Huskies will race skate on Saturday and classic on Sunday.
