HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech soccer team has three crucial home games to close out the regular season, starting this weekend with the Huskies hosting Parkside at 6:00 p.m. Friday before a Senior Day game on Sunday, hosting Roosevelt at noon.
The Series
The Huskies haven't seen the Rangers or Lakers since the opening week of the GLIAC season, where Michigan Tech played to a 1-1 draw at Parkside before a 3-1 victory at Roosevelt. Parkside and Michigan Tech have played to a 7-7-1 record and with the Huskies holding a 6-2 record at Kearly Stadium. The Huskies own a 3-0 ledger over second-year GLIAC affiliate Roosevelt.

About the Rangers
With four games remaining in the regular season, Parkside resides in a tie for second in the GLIAC with a GLIAC standing of 7-2-1 and an overall record of 7-5-2.
The Rangers have won four of their last five, highlighted by a 1-0 victory over then-No. 2 Grand Valley State.
Midfield/forward Emily Mikkelson paces the GLIAC with six assists, ranking 31st in the country. Ava Rizzitano has three assists to go with three goals. Lindsay Dahlinger leads the way with four goals on 14 shots for three game-winners. Mikkelson also leads the team in points with 12, adding three goals. In total, four Rangers have accounted for three goals this season.
Parkside averages 12.5 shots and 4.36 corner kicks per game.
Senior goalkeeper Tristen Cross has started 11 games with a record of 6-4-1 facing 121 shots, making 48 saves (.762), with a 1.36 goals-against average.
About the Lakers
Roosevelt has won two of its last five games for an overall standing of 4-8-1 and a GLIAC ledger of 2-7-1, tying Michigan Tech with seven conference points. The Lakers have posted six goals in the last five games, including a three-goal eruption in the win at Purdue Northwest on Sunday.
Three players have scored four or more goals this season, led by Daisy Garcia with five goals and three assists to lead the team in points (13). Carisma Rosales and Daisy Hernandez-Loya have contributed four goals, respectively. Garcia, Rosales and Mayte Gongora lead the team with three assists.
RU averages 12.1 shots per game and 2.3 corner kicks per game.
Goalkeeper Roxy Herrera has started the last five games for the Lakers and earned her first GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honors following a weekend split. In her last five games, she holds a 1.40 goals-against average and a .844 save percentage to go with two shutouts.
About the Huskies
Michigan Tech has a lot to play for with three games remaining in the regular season. The Huskies are looking to overcome a four-game losing skid, playing to a 2-12-1 overall record with a GLIAC ledger of 2-8-1, tied with Roosevelt with seven conference points.
The Black & Gold tally 7.4 shots and 2.53 corner kicks per game.
Seven players have scored for the Huskies this season, led by Peyton Wetzel with three and a team-high two assists. Veteran Reilly Lovercheck is close behind with two goals as Olivia Gette, Karli Koskinen, Allison Millina, Kenzie Dollision and Bella Vasoli scored their first career goal for Michigan Tech in 2025.
Senior goalkeeper Bri Barrows has accounted for 75 saves–first in the GLIAC, 36th in the country—while Ludesha Reynolds has made 32 stops, ranking eighth in the league. The duo combines for 7.33 saves per game, which ranks 18th nationally and first in the loop.

Following Sunday's game, Michigan Tech will honor its seven seniors, Barrows, Gette, Lovercheck, Avery McNally, Clara Murchison, Reynolds and Anna Syracuse as part of Senior Day.
