HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech soccer head coach Melissa Kuhar has announced the addition of two transfers, Addison Grogan and Melissa Riley to the 2026 signing class.Â
"I am thrilled to add Addison and Melissa to our program! They both bring previous college playing experience which will help our team greatly," said coach Kuhar. "They both possess a competitive fire and a willingness to want to get to work immediately. Not only are the quality student athletes, but they are both also great people off the field that will help us to continue to grow our team culture. So excited for them to join us in the fall!"

Coach Kuhar on Grogan: "When my staff and I tackled the May portal window, we knew we wanted to bring in someone whose energy would be contagious on and off the field, and I think we found just that in Addison! Her speed and stamina on the outside will be a great addition to our attacking play. Her energy paired with her technical and tactical ability will help us create things in the final third. I can't wait to see what Addison can bring to the program!"
Why Michigan Tech: "I choose Michigan Tech due to the importance placed on education and the support surrounding academics. The soccer program is an added bonus, and Coach Mel made me feel right at home."

Additionally, the location is very appealing, being surrounded by nature and being able to go hiking!"
