HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech cross country squads are entering the postseason this weekend traveling to Grand Rapids, Michigan, for the GLIAC Cross Country Championships hosted by Davenport at the Calvin University Cross Country Course on Saturday. 
The women will take to the 6k course first at 11:00 a.m. with the men's 8k to follow at 11:45 a.m.

Two Huskies earned All-GLIAC accolades a season ago with Michael Dennis taking 14th-place in the men's race for Second Team All-GLIAC accolades. Sophia Rhein finished just outside of a First Team distinction following an 11th-place finish in the women's race for Second Team honors.
The women bring back eight runners from a season ago while adding a freshmen trio of Hannah Dupuis, Brooke Marquardt and Alena Tiernan competing in their first GLIAC Championship race of their career. Haliee Zimpel will also be making her first appearance at the championship.
Alex Li (29th-place), Ingrid Halverson (35th-place), Bridget Burns (49th-place) and Claire Endres were among the top-seven of last year's 5th-place team.
The men's team returns eight runners from the third-place team at the 2024 conference meet while adding freshmen Eddie Snider Dylan Lydic and Landon Pestrue into the mix while junior Luke Pravecek will be making his conference championship debut for the Black & Gold. 
Michael Marshall (29th-place), Zeb Swager (31st-place) and Callen Carrier (32nd-place) return as part of the Huskies top-seven from last year.
