About the Meet
The Midwest region showcases three conferences: the GLIAC, GLVC and G-MAC, with the top three teams earning automatic qualifiers to the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Saturday, Nov. 22. The top two individuals from non-qualifying teams qualify automatically, as does any individual from a non-qualifying team who finishes in the top five overall. Eight more selections nationally are also made. Ten at-large teams will be selected by the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Committee.
The No. 30 nationally-ranked Michigan Tech men's team were most recently ranked seventh in the Midwest Region poll. The Black & Gold will see all four of its All-GLIAC runners appear at the starting line in senior
Michael Dennis (First Team), junior
Zeb Swager (Second Team), senior
Callen Carrier (Second Team), and freshman
Eddie Snider (Second Team).
Veteran
Sawyer Fowler and junior
Brady Ketzenberger will be appearing on the regional squad for the first time in their career. Fowler was a member of the national qualifying team a season ago.
The Huskies return four runners from last year's regional squad, including All-Region performer
Colman Lenci.

Austin Smelker and
Dylan Lydic. Lenci took 23rd-place last year in his regional debut for the Huskies.
