HOCKEY
The Huskies wrapped up its non-conference schedule at the Coachella Valley Cactus Cup over the weekend. Tech fell 3-2 to No. 10 UMass Lowell in the semifinal and defeated Holy Cross 4-3 in overtime in the consolation game. Six different Huskies scored the goals with Logan Morrell netting the OT game-winner and Stiven Sardarian putting up four points on the weekend. The Huskies are 11-7-2 overall and return home this weekend to host Lake Superior State at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena. Saturday is the annual Marketplace Foods of Houghton Kids Day with a ticket giveaway on Tuesday at 4 p.m. for 500 youth.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech split its weekend GLIAC road trip with a 59-58 win at Grand Valley State on Thursday and a 73-71 loss at Davenport on Saturday. Marcus Tomashek led the Huskies in scoring, averaging 20.5 points per game while Ty Fernholz scored 14.5 points per game on the weekend. Tech is 8-4 overall and 3-1 in the GLIAC and plays at Northern Michigan on Thursday and hosts Roosevelt on Saturday at the SDC Gym for Marketplace Foods of Houghton Kids Day.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies split their GLIAC trip with a 93-52 loss at No. 1 Grand Valley State on Thursday and a 68-60 win at Davenport on Saturday. Isabella Lenz led the Huskies in scoring, averaging 15.5 points per game on the weekend. Tech is 5-7 overall and 2-2 in the GLIAC and travels to Northern Michigan on Thursday and hosts Roosevelt at the SDC Gym on Saturday for Marketplace Foods of Houghton Kids Day.

NORDIC SKIING
The Nordic ski teams are wrapping up the week at the 2025 U.S. Cross-Country Ski National Championships at Kincaid Park in Anchorage, Alaska. They will compete on Tuesday in the 1.4K skate sprint. A full week recap will be posted to MichiganTechHuskies.com later this week.
