HOCKEY
The Huskies split on the road at No. 12 Minnesota State. The Mavericks won 5-2 on Friday and the Huskies won in a 1-0 shutout in overtime on Saturday. Stiven Sardarian, Henry Bartle, and Isaac Gordon scored the goals. Ryan Manzella had 31 saves Saturday for his second shutout of the season. Tech is 13-9-2 overall and 9-5-2 in the CCHA plays Northern Michigan this weekend. The Huskies and Wildcats will play in Houghton on Friday and Marquette on Saturday.
 
MEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech remained unbeaten at home after winning a pair at the SDC Gym. The Huskies defeated Saginaw Valley State 68-66 on Thursday and Wayne State 74-68 on Saturday. Marcus Tomashek led the Huskies in scoring, averaging 30.5 points per game while Dawson Nordgaard (14) also averaged double figures. Tech is 12-4 overall and 7-1 in the GLIAC and travels to Lake Superior State on Thursday and Ferris State on Saturday.
 
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies swept their home weekend, defeating Saginaw Valley State 84-46 on Thursday and Wayne State 76-67 on Saturday. Kendall Standfest (16), Maja Kozlowska (13.5), Alyssa Wypych (13.5), and Isabella Lenz (10.5) all averaged double figures on the weekend. Tech is 7-9 overall and 4-4 in the GLIAC and travels to Lake Superior State on Thursday and Ferris State on Saturday.
 
NORDIC SKIING
The Huskies raced on the weekend at the Ariens Nordic CCSA Invitational in Brillion, Wis. A weekend recap will be posted to MichiganTechHuskies.com early in the week. Tech has this weekend off before the St. Scholastica CCSA Invitational on Feb. 1-2.
