HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech men's basketball coach Josh Buettner has announced the signing of Jacob MacPhee for the 2025-26 academic year.

"I am very excited to have Jacob joining us, he plays the game the right way and has one of the best motors I've seen," Buettner said. "With his work ethic and athleticism the sky's the limit when he gets here." 

MacPhee is a 6-6 forward from Marquette, Michigan, has a career average of 17.7 points, 13.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. Prepping at Marquette Senior High School, Jacob is a Conference Player of the Year, an All-Conference First Team selection and an All-UP First Team honoree. 

MacPhee is undecided on his major while at Michigan Tech.
