HOUGHTON Mich. – The Michigan Tech Men's Basketball Raffle Fundraiser Event will take place on Friday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. at the Bonfire banquet hall (408 Montezuma Ave.). Those planning to attend must RSVP by October 22.
 
All raffle tickets go into a drum, and the last ticket drawn is the winner of the $4,000 grand prize. Seven additional prizes will be drawn. Tickets are $100 and include dinner. A maximum of 200 raffle tickets will be sold.
 
Proceeds will help fund a future international trip for the team—which traveled to Europe for three games in August. Those in attendance will get an exclusive opportunity to hear insights about the trip and the upcoming season from the 2026-27 men's basketball student-athletes and staff.
 
Tickets are available through current men's basketball players and members of the coaching staff. (MBB office: 906-487-2594). All checks should be made out to Michigan Tech Basketball.
 
The Huskies begin the 2026-27 regular season on Nov. 13-14 in Wisconsin Dells. The home opener is Nov. 19 against Concordia-St. Paul, and the first GLIAC game is at Parkside on Dec. 3.
