HOCKEY
After a weekend off, Michigan Tech will host No. 16 Minnesota State at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena. Friday is
Vollwerth's Family Night and Saturday is Junior Hockey Night and Skate With the Huskies after the game. The Huskies are 6-2 overall and 4-0 in the CCHA and the Mavericks are 8-4-2 and 3-1-2 in league play.

FOOTBALL
Tech football wrapped up its season with a 32-28 victory at Saginaw Valley State. The Huskies outscored the Cardinals 22-0 in the fourth quarter to complete the comeback and finish the season 7-4 overall and 4-3 in the GLIAC. Alex Fries scored three rushing touchdowns, Jake Rueff also scored on the ground, and Avery Kucharski hit a pair of field goals. Dante Basanese and Owen Watson led the defense with seven tackles each.

CROSS COUNTRY
The men's cross country team is running at the 2024 NCAA DII Cross Country Championships at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The race will be held at the Arcade Creek Cross Country Course in Sacramento, California. The Huskies earned an automatic bid after finishing third at the NCAA Midwest Regional.

VOLLEYBALL
Tech wrapped up the regular season with a pair of wins on the road. The Huskies defeated Saginaw Valley State 3-1 Friday and swept Lake Superior State 3-0 on Saturday. Tech improved to 16-11 and 10-7 in the GLIAC and have won five of its last six. The Huskies are the No. 5 seed in the GLIAC Tournament and will open at No. 4 Wayne State on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies splits its home opening weekend after defeating Bemidji State 85-57 on Friday and then falling 90-68 to Minnesota Crookston on Saturday. Kendall Standfest (16), Isabella Lenz (13), Alyssa Wypych (13), Ella Mason (11), and Dani Nuest (10.5) all averaged double figures on the weekend. Tech travels to St. Cloud State on Saturday and Minnesota Duluth on Sunday.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech dropped a pair of games on the road over the weekend, falling 90-78 at Winona State on Saturday and 83-67 at Concordia-St. Paul on Sunday. Marcus Tomashek (26), Ty Fernholz (15), and Dawson Nordgaard (11) averaged double figures on the weekend. The Huskies are 2-2 and had back to Minnesota next weekend, playing Minnesota Duluth on Friday and MSU Moorhead on Saturday.
