#13 Warriors fend off #45 Huskies 6-1

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Grace Eland won her fifth straight singles match at No. 2, but No. 45 ranked Michigan Tech fell 5-2 to No. 13 Wayne State Saturday afternoon at Gates Tennis Center.

The Huskies snapped a four-match win streak and fell to 7-5, 4-1 GLIAC. Wayne State improved to 15-3, 3-1 GLIAC.

"I felt we played well today against a really difficult Wayne State team," said head coach Kristin D'Agostini-Yep. "I was disappointed to lose but happy with the way we have been playing against quality conference opponents."
