Netters Fall to Northwood 7-2

HOUGHTON, Mich. — Northwood defeated Michigan Tech 7-2 in GLIAC women's tennis at Gates Tennis Center today. The Huskies maintained their perfect record at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles, but fell to 1-6 on the season.

Kwang Suthijindawong continued to roll with a 6-2, 7-5 victory over the Timberwolves' top player, Alisa Reshetnikova. The junior improved to 7-0 on the season at the No. 1 singles flight and 31-0 in her GLIAC singles career.

Sandra Cvetanovic battled hard at No. 2 singles, but was a break away in each set of a 6-4, 6-4 setback. NU's depth got the better of the Huskies at the remaining singles flights.
