HOUGHTON, Mich. - The Michigan Tech women's tennis team won its
fourth straight match with a 7-2 score at Findlay today. The
Huskies improved to 5-2 overall and 5-2 in Great Lakes
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play with the win.
Tech led 2-1 after doubles thanks to wins at each of the top two

Suthijindawong partnered for an 8-0 victory at No. 1. Asel

Zhilkina remained undefeated on the season at 6-0 with an 8-1
triumph at No. 2.
Zhilkina, Suthijindawong and Ronelli were all straight set winners
in singles to give the Huskies the team win. Danielle Stoll came
back from a set down to win at No. 5 3-6, 6-4, 10-7 in a third-set
super tiebreaker. Freshman Jacqueline
Kukulski posted her first career with with a 6-1, 6-4 decision
at No. 6.
Michigan Tech will return to action tomorrow (Oct. 10) at 10 a.m.
in Detroit. The Huskies will play at Wayne State (7-2 overall, 6-2
GLIAC) in a pivotal match in terms of the league standings.
