BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – The Michigan Tech soccer team fell 2-0 at Ferris State on Sunday. The Bulldogs scored a pair of goals early in the second half.

Natalie Leavens opened the scoring at 48:17 with an assist from Haley Buckman.

Leavens added to the lead 1:38 later with an unassisted tally for her second of the game and fourth of the season.

FSU led in shots 19-11, including a 9-4 advantage in shots on goal.
Sophie Rater had a pair of shots on goal while
Olivia Gette and
Amelia Gregory also had scoring chances. Goalkeeper
Bri Barrows made seven saves between the pipes.

Tech led in corners 3-1 and fouls 11-8.

The Huskies return home next weekend for a single game, hosting Northern Michigan on Sunday at noon at Kearly Stadium.
