HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech soccer team fell 4-0 to Northern Michigan on Sunday afternoon at Kearly Stadium. The Huskies controlled play early in the game but the Wildcats were able to find the back of the net twice in each half.

"We came out of the gates and did a good job being dynamic and possessing the play," Tech coach
Melissa Kuhar said. "They scored those two goals in 38 seconds was a dagger. We did fight until the end, but we have to start being a bit more selfish offensively and put some chances away."

Bilbia added to the lead 38 seconds later. Marena Maceroni was credited with the assist.

Madalyn Nissen scored on a penalty kick 1:51 into the second half.

Ema Delgado rounded out scoring at 75:45 from Riley Hill.

NMU had a 25-14 advantage in shots, including a 16-5 margin on goal.
