UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Michigan Tech soccer team fell 3-0 at Saginaw Valley State on Friday afternoon. The Cardinals scored a pair of goals in the first half and another in the second at Robert C. Braddock Field.

Abby Ellis found the back of the net 2:11 into the game from Ryleigh Gray and Gracie Cwik to give the home team the lead.

Kylie Cesarek added to the lead at 18:25 from Emily Kolodin.

Emily Kolodin gave the Cardinals a three-goal lead at 66:42 with the assist going to Melanie Kolnitys.

SVSU led in shots 21-4, including a 12-2 advantage in shots on goal.
Ryley Winrich and
Karli Koskinen generated the shots on goal. Tech held a 6-5 advantage in corners.

Tech travels to Ferris State for a 1 p.m. match on Sunday.
