HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech men's basketball head coach Josh Buettner has announced the signing of Anthony Richardson for the 2026-27 academic year.Â
Richardson joins Trey Brost, AJ Chambers, Ethan Marta, and Kayden Schultz as the class coming to Michigan Tech next year.Â
"Anothony is a terrific addition to our team, he fits us in all aspects of the program," said Michigan Tech head coach Josh Buettner. "He is improving at a rapid pace and his best basketball is in front of him. I can't wait to see what his future as a Husky looks like!"
Richardson is a 6-6 guard who earned All-State Honorable Mention and All-League First Teamer in his senior season for Grandville High School, the 2025-26 District Champions. For his career, he averaged 18 points, five rebounds and three assists for the Bulldogs.
Richardson plans to earn a degree in engineering while at Michigan Tech.
