Coach Robert Young:

I was happy with how we raced today. To see our team come out and compete this hard in small fields made me proud. We put the opportunity to compete at the GLIAC championships next weekend on the line in these races and saw some really hungry performances to chase those opportunities down. Part of being good at this sport is being able to find something extra when the meet matters more, and we had some athletes show they are good at doing just that today.

I like where we are headed into next week's championship meet and am excited for what our squads will show up with.

It's also always so fun to host on the Tech Trails. For a small meet, that is one of the more fun environments you'll ever find, and it's a credit to our community to be supported like that. Our course always runs tough, but it's a true cross country course and a true cross country experience to race here. Hopefully we can continue to grow this meet, as racing here is a special experience.

Tech gets back on the course next weekend with a group of men heading to the UW-Oshkosh Dia de los Muertos Carrera on Thursday (Nov. 5) and the GLIAC Championship on (Nov. 6).
