Volleyball Drops Two in South Dakota

SPEARFISH, S.D. - The Michigan Tech volleyball team dropped a pair of matches Friday (Sept. 7) at the Black Hills State Tournament. The team opened with a 3-1 loss to Augustana (S.D.) and followed up with a 3-0 loss to Colorado Christian.

Shelby Jones led Tech with 18 kills and hit .146. Jordanna Kero added 16 kills while hitting .270. Jacqueline Aird contributed 18 digs.

Aubrey Havlichek recorded a team-high 12 kills after hitting .280. She also had five blocks. Kienna Sharp hit .429.

Tech will face Briar Cliff and Black Hills State Saturday (Sept. 8).
