GEARY HITTING STRIDE
Junior Sean Geary scored 14 points last Saturday (Feb. 2) at Lake Superior State and has tallied 30 combined points over the last two games. The 5-10 point guard has started the last seven games for the Huskies and averaged 6.4 points and a 3.1-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. Geary averages 4.3 points per game and 2.1 assists on the season.

LUKE TO COACH IN 400TH GAME SATURDAY
Head Coach Kevin Luke, who is in his 14th season at Michigan Tech, will coach his 400th career collegiate game on Saturday (Feb. 9) at Ferris State. Luke is the winningest coach in the program's history with a 258-140 all-time record (.648 percentage). The four-time Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year (1994-95, 1997-98, 2001-02, 2003-04) was the 2002-03 National Coach of the Year.

STROM 12TH EVER TO RECORD 1,000 POINTS, 500 BOARDS
Senior Tim Strom scored his 1,000th career point on Jan. 17 and tallied his 500th career rebound one week later. The 6-7 forward is just the 12th player in Michigan Tech history to reach both milestones and currently sits at 1,031 career points and 522 career rebounds. Strom's season averages are 13.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.

DECADE OF SUCCESS
Michigan Tech owns one of the most successful programs in the GLIAC since Jan. 1, 2000, with a 169-80 (.679 pct) record. During the decade, the Huskies have won three GLIAC Championships, qualified for the NCAA Tournament four times and participated in the GLIAC Tournament all seven opportunities.

HISTORY VS. GRAND VALLEY STATE, FERRIS STATE
Michigan Tech trails Grand Valley State, 32-26, in the all-time series with the Lakers. GVSU won earlier this season (Jan. 5) by a 71-54 margin. Tech and Ferris State will square off for the 100th time since the series began in 1935. The Huskies own a 50-49 edge in the series. FSU won by a 88-83 margin when the teams played two weeks ago (Jan. 26).

FEDRICK LEADING THE WAY IN REBOUNDS
Junior Fedrick Bowe recorded eight points and eight rebounds at Lake Superior State last Saturday (Feb. 2). The Freeport, Bahamas, native is leading the team in rebounding at 6.9 rebounds per game. He has tallied seven games with 10 or more rebounds and four double-doubles this season.

SZATKO BOMBS FOUR THREES
Freshman Mike Szatko knocked down four 3-pointers in Tech's 83-71 win at Lake Superior State last Saturday (Feb. 2). The 6-4 forward scored 12 points in the game and doubled his previous career high of six points. Szatko, who has appeared in 13 games this season, has scored 36 of his 41 points this season on 3-pointers.

ALPERS RESURGENCE?
Center Kris Alpers tallied his most points in nine games with 15 at Lake Superior State last Saturday (Feb. 2). The 6-9 junior went 5-of-7 from both the field and the free throw line to register his ninth double digit point game of the season. Alpers, who is shooting a team-leading 55.4 percent from the field this season, averages 8.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest.

HUSKY BITES
Michigan Tech is 10-1 when leading at the half and 1-8 when trailing. The Huskies are also 8-1 in night games and 2-9 in day contests ... Tech has six games remaining on its 2007-08 schedule, with the final four of those coming at home ... The Huskies have played games in six different states this season (Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin) ... Thursday's (Feb. 7) game at No. 2 Grand Valley State is the Huskies third game this season against a nationally-ranked opponent.
