Heather Neff turned in a tight match at number six singles before falling, 6-4, 7-5.

"We played some good tennis, but they seemed to come up the with big points when they needed it," said Michigan Tech head coach Mike Axford. "We need to use today's match to motivate us to be ready for SVSU tomorrow."

Michigan Tech (6-4, 4-4 GLIAC) will host league rival Saginaw Valley State tomorrow at 11 a.m.
