Biography
Sarah Stream had the unofficial title of assistant coachwhen she was playing point guard for the Huskies during two NCAAElite Eight runs in 2009 and 2010. In her first year as an officialassistant coach for Michigan Tech, the team experienced its bestseason in school history-advancing to the NCAA NationalChampionship game.
Stream, who spent six seasons as a student-athlete at Techbefore beginning her duties as assistant coach in July 2010, isresponsible for working with the guards and coordinating recruitingand travel.
A CoSIDA Academic All-American in 2009-10, Stream scored 1,464points and reset the school record for assists with 459 as aMichigan Tech women's basketball player. The four-time All-GreatLakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection started everyone of her 126 games played and won 99 of those (78.7 percent). Sheserved as team captain for three seasons and finished as thethird-best career 3-point shooter (39.9 percent) in schoolhistory.
Stream, a 4.0 student, was the inaugural NCAA Division IIWomen's Basketball Elite 88 Award winner in 2010.
The Ishpeming, Mich., native gained a bachelor's degree inexercise science and is working on a master's degree in biologicalsciences.
