Patrick Rocks begins his first season as a Graduate Assistant with the Michigan Tech women’s basketball team in 2026-27.
Rocks came to Tech from the University of Kansas where he was the Head Student Manager for the Jayhawks' women’s basketball team. He was promoted to the position after his freshman season and was in the role for three seasons, serving as the primary point of contact between coaching staff, Director of Basketball Operations, and equipment services. He oversaw six student managers and managed travel logistics, apparel, film organization, recruiting operations, and basketball camps for the team.
In his time at KU, Rocks has also supported equipment operations for men’s basketball, volleyball, and golf while also providing support at both the Men’s and Women’s Big 12 Championship and WNIT Championship Tournament.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from KU.
