Sophomore Season (2018-19): Named to the WCHA All-Academic Team … Received the team’s Elov Seger Memorial Most Improved Player Award … Skated in 35-of-38 games … Tallied nine points on two goals and seven assists … Led the Huskies with a plus-6 rating … Named the WCHA Defensive Player of the Week on November 26 after tallying three points on a goal and two assists in a sweep of Alaska (Nov. 23-24) … Scored first career goal versus UAF (Nov. 24) … Also scored at Bowling Green (Jan. 12) … Had an assist on the game-winning goals versus UAF (Nov. 24) and Bowling Green (Jan. 11) … Also blocked 38 shots to rank fifth on the team.
Freshman Season (2017-18): Appeared in five games in first season … Recorded first collegiate point at Bowling Green (Feb. 3) with an assist in the 4-0 win.
Prior to Michigan Tech: Played three seasons for the Wenatchee Wild, serving as the team captain in 2016-17 … The Wild just wrapped up their second season in the BCHL winning the Ron Boileau Memorial Trophy as the regular-season league champions … The Wild previously played in the NAHL … Tallied 27 regular-season points (4G-23A) in 57 games and three assists in 10 playoff games … Prior to junior hockey, Rockwell played four seasons in the Shattuck St. Mary's program, winning the U18 USA National Championship as a senior.
