Biography

Sophomore Season (2018-19): Named a WCHA Scholar-Athlete and to the WCHA All-Academic Team … Played in 12 games, making 10 starts … Led the three Tech netminders with a 1.98 goals-against average and .931 save percentage … Had 27 saves in a 2-0 shutout of No. 10-ranked Bowling Green on January 11 … Picked up wins over Ferris State (Nov. 10), Northern Michigan (Dec. 8), and Alabama Huntsville (Dec. 15) … Stopped over 30 shots four times, including a career-high 39 at Bemidji State (Jan. 18) in an outdoor game … Attended the Detroit Red Wings Development Camp in 2019.

Freshman Season (2017-18): Appeared in 11 games in first season, making nine starts … Had a 4-3-1 record with a .903 save percentage and 2.63 goals-against average … Named the WCHA Goaltender of the Month for December after leading WCHA goalies with a .944 save percentage and ranking second with a 1.44 goals-against average … Named the WCHA Rookie of the Week after first career shutout with 25 saves in a 3-0 win over Lake Superior State (Dec. 15) … Stopped all 26 shots in a 4-0 shutout win at Bowling Green (Feb. 3) … Earned first collegiate victory with 31 saves in a 5-1 win over Ferris State (Dec. 9) … Made a season-high 34 saves versus Bemidji State (Feb. 9) to open Winter Carnival.

Prior to Michigan Tech: Was a Third Team USHL All-Star for the Waterloo Black Hawks in 2016-17 … Had a 2.22 goals-against average and .919 save percentage in 39 games last season, winning 24 contests … Ranked third in the USHL in goals-against average and sixth in save percentage and wins … Played two seasons with the Fargo Force (2014-15, 2015-16) and received the leadership and dedication award and also the community service award … Started his junior career with the Michigan Warriors of the NAHL in 2013-14 … Also played for Compuware.
