Biography

Sophomore Season (2017-18): Appeared in 24 games in first season at Tech, starting 21 games … Finished with a 10-8-3 record, a 2.64 goals against average, and .906 save percentage … Named the WCHA Goaltender of the Month for March after he led the league with .945 save percentage in March, appearing in four games with a 3-1-0 record … Was named the WCHA Championship Game First Star and game MVP after stopping all 21 shots in a 2-0 shutout at Northern Michigan … Also named a College Hockey Inc. Star and WCHA Goaltender of the Week after the performance … Had 41 saves in a 2-1 overtime win in Game 3 of WCHA Semifinal at Minnesota State … Stopped 30 shots eight times, including both games at Ice Breaker Tournament where Tech won its first title … Named the WCHA Goaltender of the Week on November 27 after a .936 save percentage and 73 saves in a sweep at Alaska (Nov. 24-25).

Prior to Michigan Tech: Transferred to Tech from the University of Denver … Was on the roster of the National Champion Pioneers in 2016-17 … Played 21 games for the University of Vermont in 2015-16 … For the Catamounts, he started 20 games, posting a 9-10-1 record with a 2.37 goals against average, and a .920 save percentage … Had three shutouts and the sixth-best save percentage and ninth-best goals-against average in school history for a season. During his first month as a starting goalie, he won four Hockey East awards, including the Goaltender of the Month honor for December after being named the MVP of the Sheraton/TD Bank Catamount Cup … Before college, he played two seasons (2013-15) with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in the NAHL, appearing in 52 games … Was named a Second Team All-State selection for Centennial High School in Circle Pines, Minnesota and owns school records for saves in a single season, career save percentage, and career win percentage.
