Prior to Michigan Tech: Played four seasons for the Newmarket Hurricanes of the OJHL … Appeared in 35 games in 2012-13 with a 2.31 goals against average and .915 save percentage … Played to a record of 19-10-3 with four shutouts … Helped Newmarket to the finals of the 2013 OJHL playoffs, where they lost in game seven to St. Michael’s … Posted a .933 save percentage and 2.22 GAA in 23 playoff games … Was part of two North East Conference titles … Named to OJHL First All-Star Team twice in his four years at Newmarket.
