Biography

Senior Season: Named captain of 2011-2012team...Earned WCHA All-Academic Team honors...Recorded team leading30 points (10 goals, 20 assists) in all 39 games...Led the team inassists (20) and was tied for third in goals (10)...Has scored atleast one point in 23 of 39 games...Scored three game-winninggoals, including one in overtime at No. 2 Minnesota on Dec. 9.

Junior Season: Earned WCHA All-Academic Teamhonors and was named a WCHA Scholar-Athlete ... Played in 18 gamesdespite battling injuries much of the season ... Opened season withfive points (two goals, three assists) in first four games of theseason ... Scored a season-high two goals at Minnesota Duluth onNov. 12th.

Sophomore Season: Earned the Merv Youngs Awardas the team's most valuable player and earned the Wildcat SlayerAward ... Tied for team lead in points (30) ... Led the team with18 goals and tied for third in assists with 12 ... Tied for firstin the WCHA in short handed goals (three) and short handed points(three) ... Tied for 1oth in the league in goals (18) and tied for11th in game winning goals (three) ... His team-leading six powerplay goals ranked tied for 15th in the WCHA and he finished tiedfor 23rd in points with 30 ... Was named WCHA Offensive Player ofthe Week after scoring his first career hat-trick and adding twoassists for a career-high five points in 5-3 win over NorthernMichigan on Oct. 9th ... Recorded eight points (six goals, twoassists) over second five-game point streak of the season from Jan.15th to Feb. 5th ... Scored game-winning goal against St. CloudState on Oct. 30th ... Also scored game-winning goal against Minn.State on Jan. 29th.

Freshman Season: Played in all 38 games,finishing second on the team in points (23) and tied for second inassists (13) ... One of four players to appear in all 38 games...  Led the team and finished 11th in scoring among freshmenin the WCHA ... Scored first career goal at Colorado College onOct. 18 ... The following game, he recorded a career-high twoassists in 4-2 win over Alaska Anchorage ... Enjoyed a three-point(one goal, two assists) weekend against Minnesota State Nov. 21-22... Was named WCHA Rookie of the Week after finishing with threegoals and one assist in a pair of 3-3 ties at Alaska Anchorage ...Exploded for seven points (four goals, three assists) duringcareer-high four-game points streak ... Earned the Norbert MatovichAward as the team’s outstanding freshman.

Played the previous three seasonswith the Waterloo Black Hawks of the USHL ... Was named to the2007-08 USHL All-Star Game after finishing third on the team with54 points (17 goals, 37 assists) ... Served as team captain duringhis final season with the Black Hawks ...
