Justin Bliesner returns to the Huskies as a sophomore forward from Mequon, Wisconsin, where he attended Homestead High School. He continues developing within a Michigan Tech program that has established itself among the region’s top Division II teams, winning consecutive GLIAC regular-season championships and reaching the 2026 NCAA Division II Elite Eight. Bliesner redshirted during the 2025–26 season and was part of the Huskies’ GLIAC Championship team. Bliesner graduated from Homestead High School, where he averaged 5.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game during his career. He recorded career highs of 16 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, four steals and five blocks. In the classroom, he was a three-time Merit Award winner, received the National Honor Society Presidential Award and earned a spot on the All-State Academic Team. Bliesner is the son of Peter and Julie and studies biomedical engineering at Michigan Tech.
