Zach Flener

Zach Flener returns for his fourth year as assistant men’s basketball coach in 2025-26 following a 2024-25 GLIAC outright regular season championships where the Huskies season ended in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. He assisted the squad to an upset victory over No. 1 seed Wisconsin Parkside in the GLIAC quarterfinals and Tech reached the Championship game before falling the NMU to end the season.

Prior to the Huskies, Flener served as basketball operations associate with the Lakeland Magic of the NBA G-League in 2021-22. In 2020-21, Flener was a player development coordinator at Lipscomb University. One year prior, he interned with the Dallas Mavericks for one season.

Flener played college basketball for Lipscomb University where he earned his undergraduate degree in Communications. He lists Lexington, Kentucky as his hometown.
