Erik Ieuter begins his seventh year at Michigan Tech and fourthas offensive coordinator. Ieuter, who began his duties with theHuskies in March 2006, has also served as special teams coordinatorand wide receivers coach for the Huskies during his tenure.

Tech's offense has finished among the top five GLIAC leaders inboth total offense and rushing offense three times in Ieuter'stenure. The 2010 Huskies were fifth in total offense and second inthe league in rushing.

Ieuter played wide receiver at Albion for four seasons from 1999to 2002, helping the Britons to conference championships in 1999and 2001. The Midland, Mich., native earned his bachelor’sdegree in economics/management and English from Albion in 2003.

Ieuter spent the following year as a graduate assistant at AdamsState in Alamosa, Colo. While there, he primarily worked with thesafeties, helping ASC top the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference intotal defense and passing defense. He earned a master’sdegree in health and physical education from Adams State in2004.

For the 2004 and 2005 seasons, Ieuter worked at Grand ValleyState, assisting with both the wide receivers and offensive line.The Lakers were the 2005 national champions with one of the topoffenses in the country.

Ieuter, 31, resides in Houghton.
