HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech Blue Line Club is hosting its first luncheon of the season on Friday, Oct. 2 at 11:45 a.m. in the 'old' Blue Line Room outside of University Images. The event is open to the public and costs $16.70 per person.

Tickets need to be purchased by Noon on Wednesday (Sept. 30) to guarantee lunch and can be purchased online, by calling the Central Ticket Office at 906-487-2073, or by visiting the ticket office in person. Payment will not be accepted after Wednesday at Noon.

Lunch options include a roasted turkey and cheddar cheese sandwich, ham and Swiss cheese sandwich, or garden vegetable and hummus wrap, served with potato chips and bottled water. Coffee will also be provided.
 
Michigan Tech head coach Bill Muckalt and Minnesota head coach Brett Larson will be on hand to talk about the season-opening non-conference series. The Huskies and the Gophers meet at 7:07 p.m. Friday and at 6:07 p.m. Saturday.

The Blue Line Club provides a wonderful opportunity for anyone who enjoys hockey to get to know the student-athletes and help them develop lifelong memories and a special bond with the community.
