HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech soccer team have unveiled their 2026 schedule, featuring an even split of nine home matches at Kearly Stadium and nine road contests. The Huskies are set to face three teams that competed in the NCAA Tournament last season.
Following a preseason scrimmage against UW-Stevens Point, the Black & Gold opens the regular season at home, welcoming NSIC opponents Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State —the latter a Sweet 16 participant a season ago, on August 28 and 30.
Michigan Tech wraps up non-conference play the following week with a road trip to G-MAC opponents and NCAA Tournament qualifiers Northwood (Sept. 3) and Cedarville (Sept. 5).
GLIAC play opens with a challenging slate, beginning against GLIAC Tournament runner-up Saginaw Valley on Sept. 11, followed by a matchup with NCAA Tournament qualifier and GLIAC Champions Grand Valley State on Sept. 13 for Family Weekend.
The Huskies then hit the road for four straight matches, traveling to Parkside (Sept. 18) and Roosevelt (Sept. 20), before a quick rematch with Saginaw Valley State (Sept. 25) and concluding the stretch at Ferris State on Sept. 27.
After a bye on Oct. 2, Michigan Tech returns home to host U.P. rival Northern Michigan on Oct. 4. That match begins a three-game homestand, followed by contests against Roosevelt (Oct. 9) and Purdue Northwest Pride (Oct. 11).
The Huskies close the regular season with a mix of home and away matchups, beginning with a trip to Marquette to face Northern Michigan on Oct. 18. The final home weekend features Ferris State (Oct. 23) and Parkside (Oct. 25), with the tilt against the Rangers serving as Senior Day.
Michigan Tech wraps up the regular season on the road, traveling to Wayne State in its inaugural season, on Oct. 29 before closing out the schedule at Davenport on Oct. 31.
