• No. 16 Michigan Tech hosts Bowling Green in the final series of the regular season.
• The puck drops at 7:07 p.m. on Friday and 6:07 p.m. on Saturday at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena.

SCOUTING THE FALCONS
• BGSU is 16-9-7 overall and 13-7-4 in the CCHA.
• The Falcons are receiving votes in both national polls.

SERIES INFO

ALUMNI UPDATE
• The Nashville Predators signed Jake Lucchini to a one-year, two-way contract worth $850,000 at the NHL level for the 2026-27 season.
• Lucchini has played in 54 NHL games for Ottawa, Minnesota, and Nashville and is in his seventh pro season.
• Lucchini was the 66th player in Tech history to reach 100 career points, finishing with 104 points on 45 goals and 59 assists. As a senior, he co-captained the Huskies and led the team in points with 26 on 11 goals and 15 assists. Lucchini was named to the WCHA All-Rookie Team as a freshman.

• Jack Anderson scored three goals and added an assist in the CCHA series at Lake Superior State. He scored two power-play goals on Friday and then tied the game with 1:55 left on Saturday to force overtime while also adding an assist.

• Bill Muckalt is one of 11 new coaches across the country for the 2025-26 season.
• Michigan Tech is tied for the largest freshman class in the nation (12).
• 24 percent of Finlanders in college hockey are on Michigan Tech's roster (5-of-25).
• Seven of the 76 players in college hockey who played in the WHL are on Michigan Tech's roster.
• Coach Muckalt is one of six NCAA head coaches with NHL playing experience.
 
COACH MUCKALT
• Bill Muckalt was named the 23rd head coach at Michigan Tech on May 22, 2025.
• Muckalt returned to Houghton after one season as head coach of Lindenwood.
• Muckalt was an assistant coach at Tech for four seasons from 2011-15.
• Muckalt played 256 NHL games over five seasons with Vancouver, New York Islanders, Ottawa, and Minnesota. He scored 97 career points with 40 goals and 57 assists.
• He won two National Championships as a player at Michigan in 1996 and 1998 and was an All-American in 1998.
 
SPORTSCENTER TOP 10
• Carson Latimer's second-period goal at Northern Michigan on Nov. 8 checked in at number five on ESPN's top 10 plays of the night.
• It was also highlighted as No. 1 in the CCHA top plays of the week.

• The Huskies went 5-5 in non-conference play.
• Tech split at No. 8 Minnesota on Oct. 3-4.

CCHA DEFENSEMAN OF THE MONTH
•  Jack Anderson was the National and CCHA Defenseman of the Month for January.
•  Anderson scored four goals and added six assists in 10 games in January. He also blocked 20 shots and had a plus-12 rating.
•  Anderson had a pair of three-point games during the month. He became the first Tech defenseman since January 1985 to score a hat trick, burying three goals against Alaska Anchorage (Jan. 3) at the Desert Hockey Classic. He scored on the power play and added two assists in a win at No. 15 St. Thomas (Jan. 31).
 
CCHA FORWARD OF THE MONTH
• Stiven Sardarian has been named the CCHA Forward of the Month after he scored six goals and added seven assists in nine games in November, accumulating at least one point in eight of the nine contests.
• His 13 points ranked third in the NCAA. Sardarian had two goals and one assist against Northern Michigan (Nov. 7) and St. Thomas (Nov. 28).
 
CCHA ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
• Teydon Trembecky was named the CCHA Rookie of the Month for October after he scored five goals and added five assists in his first month of college hockey. He had three power-play goals, 23 shots on goal, and seven blocked shots.
 
CAPTAINS
• Junior Isaac Gordon is the captain of the 2025-26 Huskies.
• Junior Max Koskipirtti and seniors Jack Anderson and Joe Prouty are also on the leadership team as alternate captains.
 
PRESEASON ALL-CCHA
• Senior forward Stiven Sardarian was named to both the coaches' and media's Preseason All-CCHA Team.
• Junior forward Isaac Gordon was named to the coaches' Preseason All-CCHA Team.
 
ASSISTANT COACHES
• Benton Maass begins his first season as an Assistant Coach. Maass comes to Houghton after one season as an Assistant Coach at Lindenwood. As a defenseman, he played collegiately at New Hampshire and Minnesota State and appeared in 122 professional games in the AHL and ECHL.
• L.J. Scarpace begins his first season as an Assistant Coach. Scarpace comes to Houghton after serving as a video coach in the NHL since 2017. He most recently worked with Detroit for the past six seasons. As a goaltender, he played collegiately at Western Michigan and Michigan.
• Former Michigan Tech hockey player Tyler Shelast begins his fifth season as an assistant coach. Before being named an assistant coach, Shelast spent the previous eight seasons as the strength and conditioning coach for the Huskies.

• Carson Latimer was selected by Ottawa in the fourth round of the 2021 NHL Draft with the 123rd pick. He is now a free agent.
• Kalem Parker was selected by Minnesota in the sixth round of the 2023 NHL Draft with the 181st pick. He is now a free agent.
• Stiven Sardarian was selected by Buffalo in the third round of the 2021 NHL Draft with the 88th pick. He is now a free agent.
 
TRANSFERS
• Jack Anderson played three seasons and 90 games at Lindenwood (2022-25). He tallied 25 points with the Lions on four goals and 21 assists.
• Owen Baker played seven games in one season at Michigan State (2023-24). He notched two points with a goal and an assist.
• Owen Bartoszkiewicz played at Lindenwood in 2024-25, with a .919 save percentage and 2.57 goals-against average in 29 games. He played six games for Minnesota during the 2022-23 season with a 3.72 goals-against average and .883 save percentage.
• Joe Prouty played three seasons and 90 games at Lindenwood (2022-25). He tallied 21 points with the Lions with three goals and 18 assists.
• Stiven Sardarian played the two seasons for New Hampshire (2022-24). In 61 NCAA games for the Wildcats, he tallied nine goals and 12 assists.
