Stiven Sardarian is the CCHA Forward of the Week for the fourth time this season.
• Sardarian had two goals and two assists in the CCHA split with Northern Michigan over the weekend. He racked up four points in Friday's 8-2 win in Marquette, scoring Tech's second and fifth goals of the game.
• In 28 games this season, Sardarian has 11 goals and 25 assists. He ranks second in the nation in points and assists to lead the CCHA and also leads the conference with a plus 15 rating.

COACH MUCKALT

Bill Muckalt was named the 23rd head coach at Michigan Tech on May 22, 2025.
• Muckalt returned to Houghton after one season as head coach of Lindenwood.
• Muckalt was an assistant coach at Tech for four seasons from 2011-15.
• Muckalt played 256 NHL games over five seasons with Vancouver, New York Islanders, Ottawa, and Minnesota. He scored 97 career points with 40 goals and 57 assists.
• He won two National Championships as a player at Michigan in 1996 and 1998 and was an All-American in 1998.

Stiven Sardarian has been named the CCHA Forward of the Month after he scored six goals and added seven assists in nine games in November, accumulating at least one point in eight of the nine contests.
• His 13 points ranked third in the NCAA. Sardarian had two goals and one assist against Northern Michigan (Nov. 7) and St. Thomas (Nov. 28).

Teydon Trembecky was named the CCHA Rookie of the Month for October after he scored five goals and added five assists in his first month of college hockey. He had three power-play goals, 23 shots on goal, and seven blocked shots.

Benton Maass begins his first season as an Assistant Coach. Maass comes to Houghton after one season as an Assistant Coach at Lindenwood. As a defenseman, he played collegiately at New Hampshire and Minnesota State and appeared in 122 professional games in the AHL and ECHL.
• L.J. Scarpace begins his first season as an Assistant Coach. Scarpace comes to Houghton after serving as a video coach in the NHL since 2017. He most recently worked with Detroit for the past six seasons. As a goaltender, he played collegiately at Western Michigan and Michigan.
